The 2024 Cat Fancier’s Association International Expo

This year marked our first trip to the CFA International Expo in Cleveland, OH, and let me tell you it was incredible! This had to be the largest venue that we have attended, and literally everything you could imagine cat related could be found within these walls. The event was located at the I-X Center, which is conveniently located near the airport and close to a slew of hotels to make things nice and easy for all of us cat travelers. Read on for some of the highlights for us on the trip, as well as what you may expect if you decide you are going to go to next years event!

By far the biggest highlight of our trip were all of the fellow cat lovers we met, from customers to cat influencers to the other vendors. Hearing directly from our customer's how the KattekopLiner really solves the problem of keeping their cat's litter box clean warms our hearts. Making cat ownership as simple as possible has been our driving goal, and seeing happy customers is why we do it!

We were extremely blessed to meet author Arden Moore and her pet safety cat Casey. They were one of the highlights of our trip. When Arden and her pal Casey weren’t busy teaching pet first aid classes, we were busy learning cat behavior tips from them. Casey is an incredible ambassador for cats in general. The Cat Behavior Answer Book, by Arden is such a great read and highly recommended to anyone who is ever left wondering why their cat may behave in a certain manner. Arden’s passion for animals is truly incredible.

The CFA expo had an array of cat influencers. They were everywhere, but there was one that we had to meet before the show was over, Moshow. If you don’t know, Moshow is a cat rapper who has literally taken the internet by storm with his unique and witty songs all about our favorite subject… cats! Do yourself a favor if you don’t know him and go check him out on social media or even his debut on Netflix. We were delighted to find that he is every bit as genuine and great in person as you would think from his online persona.

Of course we would not be complete without mentioning the wonderful ladies Rita Reimers and Linda Hall, co-founders of the Cat Behavior Alliance. These ladies have dedicated their lives to not only understanding (and helping us understand) our cats behaviors, but the proceeds from their endeavors go to help The Carolina Cat Sanctuary! Check them out on social media, their website, or over on their podcast 19 Cats and counting.

The 2024 CFA International Cat Expo was an incredible experience. Between all of the cat judging, classes, seminars, vendors, and cat lovers this expo has something for everyone. If you are thinking of traveling from out of state, like we did, it is totally worth it, and will be an experience you will not soon forget. We are incredibly thankful to all of our KattekopLiner fans, and all of the incredible connections we made at this expo.
